"Sao Jorge Castle is a beautiful spot high above the city of Lisbon. You can climb the ancient crenellated walls, which frame 360 degrees of wide and lovely views. There is a musem with relics from the original Arab city of the middle ages through the city's Roman and Christian eras. The castle is surrounded by shaded gardens where peacocks wander among the olive trees and stone benches and the ships pass far below beyond the colored rooftops."
